PRESERVING NORTHERN MINNESOTA'S WAY
OF LIFE BY SAFEGUARDING OUR WINTERS, WOODS, AND WATERS FROM THE IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE
CLIMATE CHANGE PERSONALLY IMPACTS EVERYONE,
especially Northern Minnesotans.
AND BECAUSE WE HAVE SO MUCH ON THE LINE, WE SHOULD CARE.
These extremes have shaped our character.
We thrive in our harsh and beautiful land. We're cold-hardy and resilient, intrepidly outdoorsy, and our hardworking communities have sustained themselves on Northern Minnesota's one-of-a-kind natural resources for centuries, from the Ojibwe preceding us all, to canoe guides, foresters, and blue-collar miners.
However, climate change endangers everything we're proud of.
Within only a few dozen years, warming temperatures threaten to steal away our winters, boreal woodlands, and northern way of life...
transforming the region into a Kansas replica.

Most people recognize climate change as only a future issue, driving inaction. Through advocacy and outreach, we spread the word about the personal impacts of climate change on the community through media engagement, educational campaigns, speaking engagements, and more.

Leverage public passion
Leverage public passion & awareness by inspiring and facilitating collective efforts against climate change. Strategically engage in grassroots organizing and empower the community with frameworks for action.

Spark societal change
Pressure builds among the community for legislative action that addresses the problem on a societal scale. Harness this energy by pursuing collaborations for broader impact and engaging in political outreach & lobbying.
